Will Council Vote on New Boardwalk Agreement Tonight?

The council will hold an executive session tonight -- AT 5:15 PM -- to discuss a new agreement with Madison Marquette Asbury Partners LLC, according to the City's Redevelopment and Planning Director, Don Sammet. Tonight's special Tuesday session (the council normally meets on the first and third Wednesdays of the month) will have to open to the public if the council decides to vote on the new agreement tonight.
Sammet told Asbury Radio this morning that the city noticed the newspapers, however, The Coaster did not get a notice prior to its deadline last week. According to the Asbury Park Press, they have not received a public notice for a March council meeting from the City. (This was also verified, for The Star-Ledger, too, through a search of the public website for public meeting notices.)
Neither the city clerk's office, the city manager's assistant or Sammet had seen the agenda for tonight's meeting yet, which was in the hands of Assistant City Manager James Famularo. We've asked for a faxed copy. Will post when we receive it.
