Yes, your trusty reporter missed the Asbury Park Council meeting (this one on Sept. 15th, 2008) yet again. My apologies. I had to attend a dinner meeting for one of my editors. But I can tell you about the place - Del Posto, a restaurant at 85th 10th Avenue, owned these days by TV's Italian cook, Lydia and partners!! Beautiful place ( I hope it wasn't a slaughterhouse), beautifully restored with round-keg like openings in the walls and dramatic stairways. And the food!! Fantastic.
But that didn't get the council meeting covered. I will make this up by posting items here as they arise and can be fact-checked/ verified, etc. Meanwhile, I've go an idea...please see next post.
