Rumors Surface

Post-Election is unfortunately a little late to hear about rumors. But it's never to late to correct them.
Here's one I heard today: Derrick Parreott, the mayor's cousin, was running our campaign.
No, Derrick Parreott did not run our campaign. To clarify, Derrick wanted to manage our campaign and contacted some people to ask them to run on a single ticket. But we declined his assistance. And, no, Parreott was not running the campaign from the shadows either.
I still stand by this decision, even though it also is my opinion that our campaign suffered from not having an experienced campaign manager.
